Town of Chittenden

The Town needed to replace an existing 19-foot span arch culvert (Bridge #22) built in the early 1900's on East Creek. The arch was at the end of its useful life and threatened a timesaving connection to the Route 4 arterial. The project began in July 2019 and will be completed in 2020.

Bond Bank Solution

The Bond Bank was able to provide the Town a loan as part of the summer loan pool. The loan leveraged a VTrans Highway Structures Grant and funds contributed from the Town's highway budget.
